Last updated: July 2026 · These terms apply to all services provided by China Trip Design (ABN 90 751 130 736).
China Trip Design provides travel planning, itinerary design, pre-trip preparation guidance, and optional remote concierge support for trips to China. We are not a visa agency, migration agent, insurer, airline, hotel provider, or emergency service provider. Flights, hotels, meals, attraction tickets, local guides, vehicles and other third-party services are not included in our fees unless expressly stated in writing.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about their travellers, dates, preferences and requirements; for holding a valid passport and any required visas; for arranging appropriate travel insurance; and for complying with the laws, health requirements and customs regulations of the destinations they visit.
Fees are payable as set out in your quote. Work on your itinerary begins after the agreed deposit or payment is received. Payment methods, currencies and any applicable processing fees will be confirmed in writing before you pay.
Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote (or 14 days if no period is stated). Third-party prices — such as guides, vehicles, tickets and accommodation — are indicative until confirmed by the supplier and may change with availability, season and exchange rates.
Each package includes the revisions stated in its description. Additional revisions, major route changes, or changes requested after itinerary delivery may attract an additional fee, which we will confirm with you before any work proceeds.
Where remote concierge support is included, it is available from 8:00am to 11:00pm China time. Overnight support is reserved for genuine travel emergencies only. Remote support is provided by message and call on the channels agreed before departure and depends on the client having a working internet connection.
Local guides, drivers, transfer providers, hotels, ticketing platforms and other suppliers are independent third parties. Where we coordinate their services, we do so as a coordinator only. Their services are subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts, omissions or performance.
We do not guarantee the availability, pricing, weather, opening hours or performance of any destination, attraction, transport service or supplier; nor do we guarantee visa outcomes, entry into China, or any immigration outcome. Travel involves factors beyond anyone's control, and itineraries may need to be adjusted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you paid to us for the affected service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, government actions, border closures, strikes, or failures of telecommunications and transport networks.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts competent to hear appeals from those courts.
